About US
We have been in the business of renting property for over thirty-five years. Our apartment buildings are ones we have built ourselves, and we take an active interest in maintaining them. All are spacious, comfortable and close to shopping, health care, and other amenities. Our houses are located in quiet residential neighborhoods in Onancock and are also well taken care of.
The Eastern Shore of Virginia has two counties: Accomack and Northampton. The Shore is accessible from Maryland to the north and via the 17.5 mile Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel to the south. It is situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay.
The Eastern Shore boasts a laid-back lifestyle that includes small towns and fishing villages and offers abundant outdoor recreation: fishing, hunting, biking, kayaking, and beachcombing on deserted shores.
For explorers, the Shore presents myriad opportunities:
- Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and Assateague National Seashore
- NASA Visitors Center and Wallops Flight Facility
- E. S. Railway Museum
- Ker Place
- Tangier Island
- Barrier Islands Center
- Chatham Vineyards, and Kiptopeke State Park, to name just a few
For historians, the two counties are home to the oldest continuous court records in the United States. There are fifty buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and many stately old homes are opened to the public for Historic Garden Week in Virginia. The Eastern Shore Historical Society hosts numerous lectures, programs and exhibits at its headquarters, Ker Place in Onancock.
Artists also abound - painters, sculptors, jewelers, ceramists and furniture makers have studios and shops dotted up and down the Shore. Some are on the main highway (U. S. Rt. 13); others are tucked away in small towns and villages.
Two websites that give good overviews of all the Shore has to offer are: esvatourism.org and esvachamber.org. Check them out!!
